Bluefin season
The racing car of the sea
Giant Atlantic bluefin are back off Cornwall every late summer and autumn, and Falmouth sits right on top of them. Jerry has fished them since the first CHART tagging season and now holds a three year Catch and Release Recreational Fishery licence.
Triple hook ups, fin whales, mega busts of tuna and thousands of birds. Every fish is fought hard, measured at the side of the boat and released.

Bluefin Tuna
Formula One fishing. Giant Atlantic bluefin, tagged and released under licence. Four anglers max.
Summer to November
Blue, Porbeagle and Thresher Shark
Blues to over 100lb, porbeagles to 400lb plus, and thresher available too. Released clean with barbless hooks and no T-bar.
Spring to autumn
Bass on the Manacles
Jerry's home reef seven miles off Falmouth. Live bait under a float, lures, and double figure fish.
Year round, weather permitting
Tope and Wrecking
Big tope, pollack and conger over the wrecks and reefs off the south coast.

A rod in his hand since childhood, bass off Gwithian beach at ten, then commercial fishing, eight years out of Padstow and 38 porbeagles in a single season. Jerry has fished Cornwall for a living for most of his life and the Manacles Reef longer than most.
